NEW YORK —Targeted Victory has named Sean Groman, most recently a Fox News executive producer, an executive VP on its public affairs team.

Groman has spent roughly 15 years in national broadcast journalism, the last 12 of which were with Fox. For the last three years, he was executive producer of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” helping to grow the morning show’s digital and broadcast platforms.

In a memo to staff, CEO Zac Moffatt (pictured) said Groman was tapped for his expertise in storytelling at both local and national levels, data and digital platforms and media relations.

“I believe Sean’s skills are uniquely qualified for today’s rapidly changing media environment,” Moffatt said, adding that demand for hyper-local digital activations continues to grow. “This month alone we helped a Fortune 10 company launch a new feature in all 50 states on the same day, generating 300 pieces of local news coverage across print and broadcast.”

Targeted Victory’s public affairs practice has grown into a critical contributor to the agency’s business since its launch in 2017. The team has grown to more than 30 people and accounts for nearly half the firm’s overall revenue, Moffatt said. The firm also has a political practice, working on presidential, gubernatorial and senate campaigns, and operates a GOP fundraising platform called Victory Passport.

Targeted Victory is owned by Stagwell Group, the private equity firm led by former Burson-Marsteller chief executive Mark Penn.
