LONDON—Four global agencies and one UK creative shop saw their clients receive double-digit nominations in the 2019 EMEA SABRE competition. BCW Global leads the way with campaigns for their clients receiving 13 nominations, followed by Edelman, Hope&Glory, and Ogilvy (12 each), and Weber Shandwick (10).

There were multiple nominations for clients from a host of other agencies across the continent, including Hill+Knowlton Strategies (nine); Golin, the UK’s Mischief, and MSL Group (eight each); Ketchum and Porter Novelli (seven); FleishmanHillard and UK agency Tin Man (six); APCO, Norwegian firm Geelmuyden Kiese, Grayling, Finland’s Miltton, and Trigger, also of Norway (five), and Ukraine’s Be-It, Four Communications of the UK and the Middle East, Turkey’s İz İletişim, and UK firms Unity and W (four).

The finalists were selected from more than 2,400 entries by a jury that included more than 65 industry leaders from across the continent, including both senior agency and in-house professionals.

The full list of finalists can be found here. The list includes only those listed for Gold and Diamond SABRE awards—which recognize campaigns. The finalists for the IN2SABRE awards, which recognize excellence in insights and innovation, including various forms of content creation, will be published next week.

The winners of the Gold and Diamond SABREs will be announced at our annual awards dinner, which takes place at Battersea Evolution in London on May 22. Tickets and tables for the event—as well as for the IN2Summit that precedes it on May 22—are available now from our dedicated events site.
