LONDON — A consortium of media and marketing specialists has launched the Future Communicators Accelerator (FCA), a programme for PR and marketing professionals, startups and entrepreneurs.
The five-day interactive event, to be held at London’s Blue Fin building on January 22-26 2018, will see market leaders from across the world share expertise, insight and best practice with the future stars of the communications industry.
Delegates will be mentored in the areas of: digital engagement; leadership and business skills; and personal development. They will leave the programme as part of an international network, masters of the most up-to-date communications strategies, and fully equipped to take their careers or businesses to the next level.
The FCA has been put together by a team with expertise including leadership of internationally renowned media outlets, consultancies and global-name brands, across all sectors and disciplines.
Quentin Langley, strategic consultant and senior lecturer in marketing at the University of Bedfordshire, said: "This is an outstanding programme for communicators with global aspirations."
The aim of the programme is to further the communications industry as a whole by linking professionals from around the world and empowering them with the latest industry knowledge and techniques.
Natalia Bucelnikova, managing partner at FCA, added: "There is a huge need for a programme like FCA. In a fast-moving world there is simply no time to keep up with the pace of change.
"By bringing together PR and marketing gurus from all over the world we can provide access to deep knowledge, create a strong international network, offer valuable and honest feedback, and help future communicators continue to upgrade their skills to take their seats next to the CEO."
Applications to FCA are welcomed from individuals with: at least five years experience in PR and marketing; a hunger to move into a top managerial role; at least two years experience in a managerial role with aspirations to become a communications professional; or plans to launch their own PR or marketing business.
