LOS ANGELES—Atrevia, one of the largest agencies focused on the Spanish-speaking world, has formed a partnership with Ruiz Strategies of Los Angeles to create an international, bilingual team that will strategically serve the needs of large multinational and global companies. Atrevia, headquartered in Spain. It also has offices in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and Portugal, as well as in Washington, DC,  and Brussels. Ruiz Strategies has offices in Los Angeles, Houston and Washington, DC.

MONTREAL—Cohn & Wolfe l Montreal and National Public Relations in Montreal are joining forces. Both firms are owned by Res Publica Consulting Group, which provides both firms with business administration and management services. Cohn & Wolfe's employees will join the National team in Montreal. Serge Paquette will serve as managing partner of National's Montreal office, while André Bouthillier, managing partner at Cohn & Wolfe l Montreal, will be executive vice-president.

PITTSBURGH and LOS ANGELES—Dick Jones Communications, with nearly three decades specializing in education, is joining forces with Morrison & Tyson Communications. The two firms will come together under the Dick Jones Communications brand, and will offer public relations counsel focused on higher education and K–12. Morrison & Tyson president Bill Tyson will become president emeritus, while M&T senior consultant Maggy Ralbovsky will assume an expanded leadership role as managing director and executive vice president of the new firm.
