WASHINGTON, DC—K-global has added Lilyanne McClean as senior vice president managing the firm’s financial services practice, which is based in Washington, DC. McClean joins k-global after most recently working at Bryan Cave, the St. Louis-based law firm, and Vox Global, the public affairs subsidiary of Fleishman Hillard. For 11 years before that, she held leadership roles managing government affairs, public affairs, internal communications and philanthropic activities in and outside the US for American Express and earlier worked as a consultant to financial companies, including Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, Chase and Goldman Sachs.
KANSAS CITY—Kara Hendon, the current deputy general manager of the Fleishman-Hillard’s Kansas City office, has been promoted to general manager. Betsey Solberg, the current general manager, will remain with Fleishman-Hillard as an executive consultant and will continue to hold office in the Kansas City location. Hendon has been with Fleishman-Hillard for more than 13 years.
ATLANTA—Matt Scofield has joined Jackson Spalding after serving as a senior account executive at Hope-Beckham, an Atlanta-based public relations agency, for five years. Prior to that, he assisted with business communications and management at McKenna Long & Aldridge in Atlanta. In addition, Ashton Staniszewski, joined the firm full-time after serving as a Jackson Spalding intern; and Eleanor Sams has joined the firm’s creative team in Athens, while Jonathan McGinty joins the Athens office full-time after freelancing with the firm. Finally, the Jackson Spalding Dallas office has added Erica Martinez, former public relations manager for The Fairmont Dallas.
