WASHINGTON, DC—Levick has added Stephen Aaron, a veteran of multiple political and issue advocacy campaign, as vice president. Since 2007, Aaron has worked at the National Rifle Association, where he managed paid media, grassroots communications, and get-out-the-vote efforts while also serving as an NRA regional crisis communications manager. Prior to the NRA, he spent three years on Capitol Hill as a policy analyst for the US Senate Environment & Public Works Committee.

NEW YORK—Fenton, the social change communications firm, is expanding its environment, energy and sustainability expertise with the additions of Ryan Cunningham and Eric Raymond have joined as senior vice presidents in Washington, DC, and San Francisco respectively. Cunningham joins Fenton after launching Cunningham Strategic Communications in 2013, following his experience with The Glover Park Group. Raymond most recently worked with Google, where he managed global communications for energy and sustainability, and Edelman, where he founded the west coast digital CSR group.

CLEVELAND—Crisis communications specialist Hennes Communications has hired Thomas Fladung as vice president. Fladung brings more than 33 years of daily newspaper and digital media experience to the agency, having served as a top editor at newspapers including the
Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Detroit Free Press.  

NEW YORK—Los Angeles-based lifestyle and entertainment marketing firm 48 Communications has expanded to the east coast with a new public relations division and New York office, to be led by senior vice president Vijay Lalwani. Lalwani joined the firm in March of this year, having previously worked with Bratskeir & Company and Citizen Relations.

WASHINGTON, DC—Whiteboard Advisors has added Ted Eismeier as an associate vice president in its communications practice. Eismeier previously held positions at Hager Sharp, Lipman Hearne, and the Council for a Strong America. The firm also promoted Jenna Schuette Talbot to vice president.
