LOS ANGELES—Ogilvy Public Relations has appointed Jennifer Banovetz to senior vice president, brand marketing group director. Banovetz will oversee the growth and strategic direction of the firm's work with major consumer accounts in the Western Region. Most recently, she was a senior vice president in the consumer brand practice at Edelman Los Angeles. Previously, Banovetz was in Edelman's Chicago office, and worked at Cohn & Wolfe and in-house for Mazda North American operations.

LOS ANGELES—Jocelyn Robinson has joined Lagrant Communications as vice president, community engagement. Based in Denver, Robinson will be responsible for developing and maintaining community partnerships for the agency’s clients and for new business development in Colorado. Robinson had served as the manager of Denver’s division of small business opportunity certification department; manager of the Denver Business Assistance Center; and office manager for the Mayor’s office of workforce development.

CHICAGO—Public Communications Inc. has welcomed Pamela Oettel as chief financial/operations officer and a principal in the firm. Prior to joining PCI, Oettel was an operations leader at Xerox Corporation, the world’s leading enterprise for business process and document management, where, she led a team that provided specialized administrative support to 11 major account customers with $300 million in annual revenue. She has also worked at General Electric where she held multiple financial and operations positions.

WASHINGTON, DC—Qorvis MSLGroup has promoted Shereen Soghier to senior vice president. Soghier, who has been with the agency for 14 years, will join the senior leadership team and direct international accounts from her office in the Middle East. She joined the firm 14 years ago from the newsroom at ABC News' Washington, DC, bureau. In addition, Jessica Bayer and Katherine Brick have been promoted to vice president.
