DETROIT—Dan Pierce, a veteran brand communications counselor, has rejoined Fleishman-Hillard International Communications as a senior vice president working on the General Motors account. Pierce, who will be based in Detroit, previously worked for Fleishman-Hillard in Kansas City and St. Louis from 2000 to 2005. He was most recently with Ford Motor Co., where he led the environmental and safety communications team for the past two years.

BOSTON—PAN Communications has hired Jessica Payne as director of digital strategy. Payne most recently worked for Fleishman-Hillard in the firm’s London office where she managed digital programs across the agency’s consumer, technology and financial services practice groups for clients based in the US, UK and EU. Prior to that, she held senior level social media positions at PainePR and GolinHarris in Los Angeles.

MINNEAPOLIS—Padilla Speer Beardsley has hired Maureen Rehfuss as vice president of human resources and administration, replacing 30-year veteran Barb Kuklock who retired in May. In addition, Michelle Wright was promoted to account supervisor; Melanie Pikosky joined the firm’s agribusiness and environmental sciences team as account supervisor; Deborah Malmo joined as senior writer; and the firm hired three new assistant account executives: Courtney Reigh, Samantha Johnson and David Martinson.
