NEW YORK—Ruder Finn has added Sally Barton is joining as executive vice president and head of the US healthcare practice, with Susan Goldstein assuming a new dual role as chair of the global healthcare practice and a new position as president, growth initiatives. Barton comes to Ruder Finn from Ogilvy PR, where she served as EVP, responsible for growing the agency's largest healthcare client over the course of eight years. She was previously the Head of the North American practice at Cohn & Wolfe.

WASHINGTON, DC—Crisis and reputation management firm Washington Media Group has named Robert Johnson its new president. Serving as a Bush Administration appointee, he handled public affairs for the Transportation Security Administration following the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001; managed media relations as the head of public affairs under Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta, and was chief of staff to Transportation Secretary Mary Peters. He previously directed public affairs for former Arizona Governors Fife Symington and Jane Hull.

CLEVELAND—Falls Communications has named Jamie Dalton, who joined the firm in January 2007, as vice president. She came to Falls Communications from the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office and also served as an aide to Ohio State Rep. Shawn Webster and worked as a news anchor. In addition, Dawn Kacyznski has been promoted to senior account executive and Janel Hlebak has joined as an assistant account executive.
