Prior to joining McGinn, she worked for GolinHarris, where she managed accounts and directed the agency’s global communications training program for more than 11 years. Earlier, she worked for Dan McGinn under his previous companies of Ryan McGinn and Weber McGinn. And before moving to Washington, DC, in 1996, she served in the administration of Governor George Pataki as director of public information for New York’s Department of State.
WASHINGTON, DC—Levick Strategic Communications has hired Jack Deschauer as a vice president in the firm’s corporate practice. Prior to joining Levick, Deschauer worked with Pratt & Whitney. An experienced crisis counselor, he also managed media relations in multiple high-profile situations, such as the Chandra Levy tragedy, the NFL “Spygate” episode, the Jayson Williams trial, and a critical brand preservation effort related to one of the nation’s best-selling nutritional supplements.
NEW YORK—Emanate has added Talley Summerlin as vice president in the New York office. He will oversee corporate reputation management for Philips and provide strategic counsel and account management for the legacy asset servicing division of Bank of America. Summerlin joins Emanate from EnviroMedia Social Marketing in Austin where he served as director working with clients such as the Texas Department of State Health Services and car2go. Prior to that, he was a vice president at GCI Group.

Bunch’s experience as a strategist is founded on a career as a digital journalist, and he holds a journalism degree from Eastern Washington University.
NEW YORK—Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations has promoted Emily Wilson from senior vice president to managing director. In her new role, she will provide strategic direction for clients, lead new business development, supervise and mentor staff. She joined NJFPR in January 2010 and has more than 12 years of industry experience. In addition, Hannah White was promoted from account coordinator to account executive after nearly 18 months at NJFPR.
