WASHINGTON, DC—The Glover Park Group has appointed Carolyn Gluck as a senior advisor. Gluck will provide strategic political and legislative counsel on a broad range of issues to the firm’s health and wellness practice. Gluck spent nearly 20 years on Capitol Hill and for the past decade was senior policy advisor, advising on public health, women’s issues and appropriations. Gluck helped to pass the first federal law guaranteeing coverage of prescription contraceptives for federal employees, participated in negotiations for the Affordable Care Act, and coordinated the campaign to protect access to women’s preventive health care during the Supreme Court’s consideration of Burwell v. Hobby Lobby.

ST LOUIS—FleishmanHillard has appointed Mike Cearley, senior vice president and senior partner, as global managing director, social and innovation. He will be responsible for bringing together social leaders across FH’s network to establish a community and develop and deliver a signature FH global social point of view.


SAN FRANCISCO—The W2O Group has named Aaron Strout—who was president of its WCG brand—as chief marketing officer of the W2O Group, overseeing marketing activities including events, social media, thought leadership and CRM. Strout was named president of WCG in 2015 after holding several roles within the company since 2011. In the interim, COO and head of client service Jennifer Gottlieb will run the $40m WGG brand that has a portfolio of healthcare and technology companies.

Yapur has more than 13 years of experience in research, marketing  and advertising for recognized companies in Peru, such as San Fernando, Nestle Peru, and La Positiva Insurance.


PHILADELPHIA—Brendon Shank has joined the full-service marketing communications agency Domus as vice president, account director. Most recently, Shank worked in-house, creating and leading the communications department at the Philadelphia-based Society of Hospital Medicine. Earlier, he worked with several firms including Porter Novelli.


NASHVILLE, TN—Kerry Gardner has been promoted to director of publicity for Choice Media & Communications Gardner joined Choice as a senior publicist in September 2014 following work as a client services advisor at Jarrard Phillips Cate & Hancock.


NEW YORK—CRC has hired Brianne Dezzutti as account supervisor and director of celebrity influencer management and Erika Kuzmicz as senior account executive and manger of celebrity influencer management. NEW YORK—The DAS group of companies, a division of Omnicom Group that includes its PR agencies, has promoted Robert Lorfink to global chief financial officer. Prior to this promotion, Lorfink was DAS CFO of the Americas and immediately preceding that was president and COO of Ketchum.


NEW YORK—Peter Cumello has been named Text100's global chief financial officer, based in New York and reporting to CEO Aedhmar Hynes> Cumello’s most recent role was with Accenture, where he served as a managing director of finance. Prior to Accenture, he was North American senior vice president of finance and APAC CFO for Avanade, a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture.
