SAN FRANCISCO—MWW has promoted Molly Mulloy to US head of technology, and expanded its San Francisco presence, where Mulloy will continue to serve as general manager. Since April, the office has added clients including Chinese e-commerce company DHgate and Opera Software.  The office now also includes a specialty in understanding the Asian technology market, with a team that has lived and worked in China and boasts fluency in its language and business culture.

SEATTLE—Edelman has named Gina Avila senior vice president and group director for digital in the Pacific Northwest. She will partner with leadership in Seattle and Portland to drive digital strategy for clients and lead a staff of digital specialists across the region. Most recently, Avila was the senior vice president of internet and mobile marketing for Citi, where she drove adoption of Citi's digital and mobile platforms such as the Citi Mobile Snapshot. Prior to Citi, she was vice president of business development services at IMG.

BOSTON—PAN Communications has hired Mark Malinowski as vice president/group director of the agency’s consumer PR practice. Malinowski has 25 years of experience working with clients such as Yoplait, Levi Strauss & Co., Ben & Jerry’s, Timberland, L’Oreal, and IKEA. He joined Cone Communications in 2008 as a senior vice president in the brand PR team after spending much of his career at Ketchum, where he created and launched the agency’s entertainment marketing unit.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI—Lambert Edwards & Associates has added Matt Magee as a director in the financial communications practice and Blair Badge as an associate on the digital team. Magee was previously a vice president in the financial institutions practice of both Boenning & Scattergood and FIG Partners, advising on capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. SANTA MONICA, CA—Blaze, which represents leading brands in health and beauty, hospitality, consumer and lifestyle, has appointed Angela Megrey as vice president of social media and marketing. Megrey will be responsible for leading the social media & marketing campaigns for both Blaze and its parent company, Davies Public Affairs. She joins from The Marketing Arm, where she was senior account director, working with clients such as NBC, ABC, Disney, Calloway, and Sony.

WASHINGTON, DC—DCI Group has added Suzanne Zurn as vice president of digital strategies. Zurn and Mark Szalay, vice president of technology, will head up DCI Group’s technology and digital offerings, focusing on online grassroots and media campaigns. Zurn comes to DCI Group from The Prosper Group where she was general manager.
