LONDON—Four Communications is strengthening its corporate public relations practice with the addition of Iain Burns as managing director, corporate PR, issues and crisis management.

Burns will join Four in December from Bell Pottinger Sans Frontieres. He was previously head of corporate communications at British Airways for five years and more recently he was vice president corporate communications at Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi. He has also held positions with British Nuclear Fuels, American Airlines and BAA.

He will build on the firm’s corporate and issues-led work across a range of sectors, including transport and tourism. He will work with Four Communications managing director Einir Williams on further developing the agency’s corporate practice, with international MD Ray Eglington on clients in the Gulf region, and with Four bgb MD Debbie Hindle on corporate tourism accounts.
