SINGAPORE—Allison Lim is returning to Burson-Marsteller, three years after she departed for a position at boutique consultancy Watatawa.

Lim rejoins the agency as regional MD of public affairs and government communications. She remains based in Singapore, where she previously served as Burson's market leader from 2007 to 2011, after joining the agency in 2003.

In her new position, Lim reports to Ian McCabe, regional public affairs practice chair for Asia-Pacific. She will focus on expanding the firm’s public affairs business in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.

“Burson-Marsteller has always placed a high priority on being the industry leader for public affairs and issues and crisis management,” said Patrick Ford, Burson-Marsteller's regional chairman in Asia-Pacific.

“Allison’s experience in formulating and executing multi-market strategies, combined with her understanding of the political and regulatory landscape across markets, will be a tremendous resource for our clients in Singapore and across the region.”
