HONG KONG — Andrew Kirk is leaving Edelman after three as Hong Kong MD, with senior directors Adrian Warr and Andres Vejarano taking charge until a new MD is found.

Kirk (pictured) spent six years in total with Edelman, which he joined from Hill + Knowlton. He has led Hong Kong and Taiwan since 2011.

"Under Andrew’s leadership our Hong Kong business has transformed to a multi-disciplinary and multi-channel communications and marketing agency," said Edelman North Asia Bob Grove. "We thank Andrew for his service and look forward to continuing our growth trajectory with the deep bench strength of our senior leadership team led by Adrian and Andres."

Edelman Australia also recently reshuffled its leadership, after losing CEO Tim Riches and COO Matthew Gain.

In Hong Kong, the firm has announced the hires of Pierre Desfretier as creative director and Shilpa Sharma as head of Edelman Berland. Desfrestier was previously at Ogilvy & Mather, while Sharma has worked at TNS and Nielsen.
