BRUSSELS — APCO Worldwide has promoted its deputy MD in Brussels, Theo Moore, to the managing director role, enabling European president and Brussels lead Claire Boussagol to focus on her regional position.

Moore served as deputy MD of APCO’s Brussels office for the past two years and has been with the firm since 2009. Before joining APCO, Moore worked for Brunswick, The Royal Parks in the UK, Text 100 and Edelman.

Boussagol will continue to lead APCO’s operations in Europe. She said: “Since joining our Brussels team in 2009, Theo has made an enormous contribution to the success of the office, heading our financial practice and providing inspired leadership on key client accounts. It’s been a pleasure working with Theo and I’m excited to see the Brussels office continue to grow under his leadership.”

Moore said: “The APCO team in Brussels is simply outstanding, blending deep experience, exceptional skills and an abiding sense of camaraderie. It is a real honour to be able to lead our office into the next chapter of APCO’s ongoing story of success and achievement.”

The promotion comes during a landmark year for APCO, as 2019 is the 35th anniversary year of its founding by Margery Kraus. It has since grown to a global consultancy with nearly 800 employees across 30 office. APCO opened in Brussels in 1995.
