LONDON — Arlo Brady has been named CEO of Freud Communications by chairman Matthew Freud.
Brady becomes Freud's third CEO after leading the firm's senior management team with Caroline Wray following Andrew McGuiness' departure in late 2016 after two years as CEO. Prior to that, Nicola Howson held the leadership position.
"Arlo has been a core part of our senior leadership team, developing the Brewery into a world class corporate communications consultancy. I have absolute confidence in his ambition and believe he will continue to drive our business forward with a real commitment to excellence and market differentiation," said Freud.
Brady joined the firm in 2006 as an associate board director and special advisor to Freud and the late Lord Philip Gould. He became a managing partner in 2011, and built up The Brewery, Freud's corporate practice with a focus on strategic communications and reputation management. During this time, Brady forged relationships with large multinational businesses seeking a creative approach to corporate communications. Freuds said The Brewery produces half of the firm's revenue.
Brady has also held a position as a non-executive director at Proud Robinson & Partners since early 2017. In addition, he is a member of the Ashoka Support Network and is an honorary conservation fellow of the Zoological Society of London.
"It's an incredible privilege for me to have the opportunity to lead Freud's in this next phase of its evolution. Right now we have a combination of formidable talent, commitment to excellence and a compelling culture, I have great faith in the future," said Brady."
