NEW DELHI —Bayer has appointed Hill+Knowlton Strategies as its official public relations and communications agency in India. H+K won the mandate following a competitive pitch, displacing incumbent Perfect Relations. The agency will support communications outreach for all business divisions of the Bayer Group in India including crop science, animal health, pharmaceuticals and consumer health.

HONG KONG — In a move to strengthen its creative leadership in Asia, Ogilvy has restructured its team so executives now have purview over multiple markets. In turn, the agency has promoted Reed Collins from chief creative officer of Hong Kong to CCO of the entire northern Asia region.  Ajab Samrai, CCO of Japan since 2013, will take on the overall creative leadership for Ogilvy ASEAN, relocating to Singapore.

MELBOURNE — John Rynehart has joined PPR as ANZ director of corporate. Rynehart joins PPR with 20 years’ experience as a journalist and communications strategist in Australia, the UK and the Middle East. Most recently he was deputy MD at Four Communications Middle East, one of the UK’s most awarded independent communications agencies where he helped to lead a team of more than 40 consultants across offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

HONG KONG — The Public Relations Network has added new agencies across the Asia-Pacific region, bringing the number of member firms to 27 across four continents. New members are from India, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. Membership provides firms support from other agencies around the globe.
