BEIJING—ICR has hired veteran business journalist Edmond Lococo as senior vice president in its Beijing office, working with ICR’s Asia-based public and privately-held clients. For two decades, Lococo covered companies in technology, telecommunications, aerospace and defense as a financial journalist in China and the US. Prior to joining ICR, he was at Bloomberg News for 15 years, including two postings in Beijing. He began his journalism career in Hong Kong working for the South China Morning Post and Hong Kong Standard.

BEIJING—RFI Studios, the digital arm of Ruder Finn, has won a competitive pitch for the Audi R8 LMS Cup digital business in China. The pitch included international and local agencies in China to provide social media communications for both English and Chinese platforms as well as current website maintenance. RFI will also provide social media crisis management and race weekend on-site social media communications in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.
