KUALA LUMPUR—Millicent Danker, whose Perception Management Group was one of the first Asian public relations firms to focus on strategic communications, including crisis and issues management and corporate reputation, has passed away in London after being admitted to hospital for pulmonary embolism or blockage of an artery in the lungs. Danker was a journalist with the New Straits Times and editor of Malaysian Business, before working in corporate communications for Petronas and then founding her own agency 18 years ago.

HONG KONG and SINGAPORE—Singapore-based consultancy PRecious Communications and Hong Kong public relations firm CRED Communications have formed a strategic partnership to serve clients thoughout Southeast Asia and Greater China. SYDNEY—Bite has been awarded new campaigns for printing, imaging and sewing company Brother International Australia, HP solutions provider Epicon, and heritage surf label Goldenbreed. The firm’s digital asset creation work for Brother centres on the development of a retail training app to assist Brother sales staff. For Epicon, the firm has been brought in as a strategic content marketing and digital partner. Goldenbreed has appointed Bite to fully rebrand the company's positioning to break into new markets.
