FRANKFURT – BCW has hired Bjoern-Christian Hasse as its new managing director of corporate solutions in Germany and head of growth across its Europe and Africa region.

He replaces Santo Pane, who left BCW last month to take up an in-house role at PWC.

Hasse joins from Edelman, where he spent 15 years in a variety of roles, including eight years as global client relationship manager for 39 Novartis offices around the world and, most recently, as executive director of global clients. He had also managed Edelman Frankfurt’s global hub and provided strategic direction to multinational corporate, health, brand and crisis clients.

In Germany, Hasse will report to BCW market leader and Germany CEO Wolfgang Lünenbürger-Reidenbach, who said: “I am honored to have Bjoern join our team. He will be a crucial part of our strategy for growing our business; elevating our corporate, crisis, and reputation offer; and building Germany as the next generation hub for international client work.”

In his Europe & Africa role, Hasse will report to Europe & Africa president Scott Wilson, who said: “I’m thrilled that we have such an experienced growth leader joining our ranks. His breadth of expertise across a variety of industries will be an incredible asset as we build our business across these two very important regions.”

Hasse added: “I am very impressed by BCW’s clear vision and excited to help drive its already phenomenal success to the next level. Looking at the quality of our team and offerings, this will be a great journey.”
