SINGAPORE—Bite has hired Adrian Heng as general manager of its Singapore office, following the departure of group director James Park.

Heng joins after a two-year stint at Hill+Knowlton, where he led three different Singapore practices, and served as Southeast Asia digital lead. As general manager of Bite Singapore, Heng has been enlisted to lead the agency’s growth in Singapore and provide both Singapore and regional clients with senior counsel.

The firm has also hired Smitha Virik as a director. Virik will lead the Singapore client servicing team in building and implementing creative and effective communications for consumer and enterprise clients.

“The demand for integrated digital communications founded on a legacy of compelling content and media relations continues to grow in Singapore so, we are delighted to welcome Adrian and Smitha to Bite Singapore," said Bite Asia South SVP Roger Marshall.

"Their diversity and professional counsel will further enhance our capabilities both locally and as a regional hub for multi-national companies operating in Asia. This is part of our overall strategy to continue strengthening our position as a leader in fully integrated global marketing services.”

Park departs Bite Singapore after two years with the agency, to "pursue new career directions."
