NEW YORK—BlissPR, a business-to-business public relations firm focused in professional and financial services, has formalized its capabilities for healthcare companies by launching BlissHealth, serving the needs of healthcare companies, from biotechnology to medical device and diagnostic to health services, at all stages of development.

The practice is led by Miriam Weber Miller, who built the life sciences practice for FischerHealth and was an executive vice president with FischerHealth/Porter Novelli Life Sciences, and Julie Johnson, a former senior vice president at Ruder Finn and associate managing director for WeissComm Partners.

The practice is being overseen by Meg Wildrick, managing director for BlissPR.

"The healthcare market has always been dynamic, but the change we are seeing within it today is unrivaled," says Weber Miller. "To meet the challenges of the 21st century, actions and communication have to unite. You can only do this if you are knowledgeable about how the entire healthcare continuum fits together and the business realities found within each sector."

BlissPR is owned by the Dudnyk Exchange, a group of marketing communication companies with capabilities centered on the healthcare sector.
