MIAMI—Donna Sanker, chief marketing officer for BP Fuels North America, has joined the roster of speakers at #PRovoke16, the fifth annual Global Public Relations Summit, which will take place in Miami next month.

Sanker will be part of a discussion on “Earned Influence and the Power of Integration” that will address several critical questions facing communicators: If you strip away the traditional silos of advertising, media, PR, and digital, what is the core of great communications and how can marketers and agencies utilize creativity to produce great ideas that influence and engage fickle consumers? Does it matter whether PR or advertising leads? And can an idea be genuinely creative if it doesn’t result in increased sales or changes in behavior?

She will be joined by Art Zambianchi, executive director of WPP marketing agency Mindshare, and Michelle Anderson, managing director of session sponsor Ogilvy Public Relations’ Chicago office.

Sanker currently leads all marketing activities for the BP, ampm, and ARCO brands, responsible for the brand strategy, advertising, communications, fuel and store innovation, loyalty and payment, and site technology functions. She joined BP in 1996 and has held various marketing, operations, logistics, and manufacturing positions throughout her career.

Zambianchi has worked in the Chicago marketing community for more than twenty years, holding positions in advertising and media agencies. He joined Mindshare in 2012, after previously heading global advertising and brand integration for Motorola Mobility, where he helped launch the Android platform and revive the Razr franchise.

She joins a line-up of speakers that also includes Frontline executive producer Raney Aronson-RathTeresa Younger, president and CEO, the Ms. Foundation for Women; and Dr Philippa Malmgren, author of Signals: The Breakdown of the Social Contract and the Rise of Geopolitics and founder of economic advisory firm DPRM Group.
