TORONTO—MSLGroup has appointed Gayla Brock-Woodland, a longstanding executive at the firm, as president of its Canadian operations. She was formerly the managing director of the firm, which has offices in Toronto and Montreal.

In her new role, she will continue to report to Renee Wilson, President, North America, and will look to further expand the agency’s Canadian business into new regions and business streams. The firm has a strong consumer practice, as well as expertise in healthcare and technology.

Brock-Woodland has led the agency’s operation in Canada for a decade. She is a former journalist, and her experience spans consumer, corporate and healthcare. She has worked for leading Canadian companies in the retail, consumer products, telecommunications, insurance, energy, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and education sectors.
