LONDON — Brunswick Group has hired Duncan McCourt as a partner in its London office, to focus on financial services clients and public affairs.
McCourt joins Brunswick from the UK Treasury, where he was chief of staff and special advisor to former chancellor Phillip Hammond, advising on issues including Brexit, financial services and healthcare.

Earlier in his career, McCourt was a management consultant, as well as working in European equity strategy at Credit Suisse and JPMorgan Chase, and consulting at the World Bank and KPMG in Washington, DC.
Brunswick CEO Neal Wolin said: “I am delighted to welcome Duncan to the firm. His significant experience in economic and public affairs will make him a terrific addition to the firm.”
McCourt added: “At a time of so much uncertainty in global business, I’m excited to be joining the leading strategic advisory firm, and to help clients play a more successful role in society.”
