PARIS — Pierre-Hubert Meilhac has joined the executive board of Ogilvy in Paris, as its new MD and head of PR and influence.

Meilhac was previously managing director of France for Golin, which is integrated with MullenLowe in Paris.

In his five years at Golin, he built a modern influence offering by adding a consumer practice to the firm’s corporate and crisis expertise and putting social media at the heart of its work. He has also previously managed the PR offer at Hopscotch Groupe in Paris.

Meilhac’s new role will focus on growing the PR and influence teams and integrating them within Ogilvy. He succeeds Eric Maillard, who will return to the network after a sabbatical.

Natalie Rastoin, president of Ogilvy in Paris, said: “I am pleased to welcome Pierre-Hubert, whose background and experience is focused on integration, creativity and growth, in perfect harmony with Ogilvy's evolution.”

Meilhac said: “For me, it’s a new personal chapter that I’m beginning with enthusiasm and the desire to integrate Influence at the heart of the creative campaigns of the agency to support the growth of our customers. The goal shared by Natalie Rastoin and the board is simple: build on these foundations to make Ogilvy a reference in the French market and an essential hub in Europe.”
