ZURICH—Following the arrival of Chris Cartwright as managing director of Burson-Marsteller Switzerland, the firm has made several changes to its executive board in the market. Martin Hofer, previously head of corporate communications, has been named public affairs practice, and Ute Dehn Christen, previously head corporate financial communications, will lead the corporate and financial communications practice.

Hofer replaces Theo Zijdenbos, who will maintain his senior advisory role with selected key clients in public affairs. Hofer joined B-M as a senior consultant in 2005, javing previously worked as an executive producer for the newscast 10vor10 and senior editor of Sonntags-Blick, and has been a member of the executive board since 2007.

Christen joined Burson-Marsteller in October 2010, having previously served as head of communications and PR and a member of the management board at GE Money Bank. Prior to her tenure at GE Money Bank, she held senior communications and marketing positions at UBS.
