NEW YORK — BCW has hired D&I expert Carol Watson to lead its North American diversity efforts.

As executive VP, inclusion & diversity, Watson is responsible for creating and implementing initiatives, as well as refining existing practices, that will make the agency’s North American operation truly inclusive, with a workforce comprised of individuals with varied points of view, experience and cultures.

Watson most recently was a senior advisor specializing in diversity best practices at Global Advisor Services, where she helped more than 200 organizations implement programs to bolster diversity — and sustain it once it was achieved. She also co-founded Tangerine Watson, a cross-cultural talent consultancy specializing in US and global talent acquisition and retention.

She replaces Rosa Nunez, who left BCW in September and is now law firm Foley Hoag’s diversity & inclusion director.

“Carol brings a deep understanding of both the performance and workplace imperatives of building and nurturing a truly inclusive organization,” said BCW North America president Chris Foster, to whom Watson reports. “BCW is committed to offering clients the very best talent whose wide-ranging backgrounds and experiences allow them to develop powerful work that speaks to and moves all key stakeholders. Carol’s expertise and relentless pursuit of inclusive organizational transformation will ensure we continue to deliver on this promise.”
