CAMBRIDGE, MA—Feinstein Kean Healthcare, a subsidiary of Ogilvy known for its health and life sciences work, has appointed industry veteran Marilyn Castaldi as executive vice president to head its healthcare practice. She will be based in FKH's Edison, NJ office.

Castaldi has worked with leaders in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, medical device and emerging technology fields, as well as physician organizations, health providers, research foundations, and business-to-business firms.

In her last agency role, she spent nine years as a senior partner at Fleishman Hillard, she helped build and then led the global healthcare communications practice. Her experience includes stints at Burson-Marsteller, Hill & Knowlton and Johnson & Johnson.

More recently, she headed communications at Columbia University Medical Center and NYU Langone Medical Center, launching new institutional identities and overseeing brand management for these research-based academic institutions.

Initially best known for its work in the biotechnology sector, Feinstein has since developed specialties in health IT/bioinformatics and health services, while continuing to serve companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostic, device, and contract research markets.
