NEW YORK — Chantal van Wijnbergen, a veteran of airline industry comms, has been named JetBlue’s new director of brand and advertising.

Van Wijnbergen will lead the JetBlue brand as well as all of the airline’s marketing activity.  She replaces Elizabeth Windram, who was recently elevated to JetBlue’s VP of marketing.

Van Wijnbergen most recently worked for the Australian carrier Jetstar. She spent more than five years leading the low-cost airline’s marketing and PR across Southeast Asia, before relocating to New York earlier this year.

During her tenure at Jetstar, van Wijnbergen oversaw the development of the airline's Southeast Asia brand positioning, which also included leading marketing, content and communications across the region. Her team launched Jetstar’s first Southeast Asian campaign.
