STUTTGART—Christof Ehrhart, who has spent almost a decade as  head of corporate communications and responsibility at Deutsche Post DHL Group, is joining Robert Bosch Group as of January 1, 2019 to head corporate communications, external relations and brand management for the global supplier of technology and services.

Ehrhart takes over from Christoph Zemelka, who is leaving Bosch after 14 years. Zemelka has been in charge of corporate communications and brand management, advancing the digitization of the communications function.

In his new role, Ehrhart will be in charge of internal and external communications, public affairs, corporate responsibility and brand management, reporting directly to the CEO of Bosch, Volkmar Denner.

Before joining Deutsche Post DHL Group Ehrhart was in charge of global corporate communications at European Aeronautic Defense & Space Company (EADS) and of corporate communications & public affairs at pharmaceutical company Schering. Earlier positions include leading corporate affairs and public relations at JT International Germany and various communications roles with the Bertelsmann Group.

According to Ehrhart, “Bosch is a fascinating company which has a long track record in combining innovation and sustainability for the good of its customers.”
