TORONTO — Citizen Relations’ Canadian operation has nabbed two new clients — Netflix and the association Go RVing Canada, which promotes RV camping.

The agency will be handling Netflix’s consumer PR across the country, which it was awarded through a competitive pitch process late last year. That includes Citizen focusing its efforts on earned media.

Go RVing, meanwhile, has charged Citizen Relations with driving brand awareness, enabling the association to reach new audiences. The group, comprised of RV manufacturers and dealers and campground operators, provides a range of consumer information about RV travel.

Nick Cowling, Citizen Relations’ North American president, said the account wins reflect the agency’s attention to strategy and creative.

“Three years ago, we doubled down on the importance of insights to drive conversation,” Cowling said. “Our success with these new client winds is certainly a testament to our strategy-led approach and, but also a new focus on more meaningful measurement that connects our clients’ communications with their business objectives.”
