ROSEMEAD, CA— Electricity generator and distributor Edison International has elected Janet Clayton as senior vice president, corporate communications. Clayton will lead the corporate communications function across Edison International, including internal and external communications, corporate and brand positioning, and community relations and philanthropic programs.

Clayton comes to Edison International from ThinkCure, community-based nonprofit that raises funds for cancer research and the official charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers, an organization she has been leading for the past three years.

Prior to joining ThinkCure, Clayton worked at the Los Angeles Times and held positions including editor of the editorial pages and California section editor.
