DALLAS — Golin has named industry veteran Clifford Lopez as managing director of its roughly 100-person Dallas operation.

Lopez is charged with bolstering the office's existing data and influencer marketing strengths, while also growing its technology expertise. Lopez most recently was managing director of marketing agency iCrossing’s Dallas office.

Lopez replaces Alex Tan, who, along with former San Francisco innovation head Mary Jo Behrman, were named to newly-created positions leading digital for the region. He reports to Midwest president Ginger Porter.

“One of the traits we came to admire most was Clifford’s passion for helping us drive what’s next in Dallas and the agency,” Porter said. “Clifford brings a great deal of passion to everything he does – from helping our clients earn more attention, protect their reputations and drive sales to equipping our employees and harnessing the power of our Go All In culture.”

Before overseeing iCrossing Dallas, Lopez was president of Optaros, a McCann agency focused on ecommerce, as well as executive VP and chief technology officer for MRM/McCann. Prior to his leadership roles within IPG, Lopez was a managing director of Tribal DDB.
