INDIANAPOLIS — Eli Lilly and Company announced that Leigh Ann Pusey will be joining Lilly as senior vice president of corporate affairs and communications, effective June 12, 2017. She will be a member of Lilly's executive committee reporting directly to president and chief executive officer, David A. Ricks. Pusey currently serves as president and CEO of the American Insurance Association (AIA). She joined AIA in December 1996 and was promoted to president and CEO in February 2009.

NEW YORK — Condé Nast Entertainment (CNÉ) has named Joanna Massey to the newly created position of head of CNÉ communications. In this role, Massey will be responsible for developing and executing the division’s external and internal communications strategies, including overseeing media relations and executive communications. Massey will be based at CNÉ’s New York headquarters and will report to CNÉ president Dawn Ostroff. She most recently served as senior vice-president of corporate communications at Lionsgate.

MILWAUKEE — Life insurance and financial planning company Northwestern Mutual has named Courtney Reynolds vice president of communications and corporate affairs. In this role, Reynolds will be responsible for advancing the company's external and internal communications strategy. She joined the company in 2015, and prior to that she served as director of communications at Exelis Inc., a Fortune 500 aerospace, homeland security and defense company. Reynolds has over 20 years of corporate and agency experience and has held senior strategic planning and business development roles for global B2C and B2B companies.

DALLAS — Associa has tapped Ashley Cantwell to join the Dallas team as director of media and public relations.  Cantwell will focus on the development and implementation of the company’s media strategy and ongoing public relations efforts to support Associa’s global brand. Cantwell joins the team from New York City based KCC Strategic Communications Services, where she served as a senior consultant specializing in strategic, corporate, restructuring and litigation support. Prior to joining KCC, Cantwell was a senior associate at Sitrick and Company.

TORONTO — Dealnet has appointed John Sadler to the position of senior director, corporate communications. Sadler will be responsible for all of the Company's corporate communications activities with its key stakeholders including its shareholders as well as brokers and research analysts. Sadler will be supported by Marc Boudreault, the company's Quebec-based corporate communications resource and by the Company's existing social media/web and content development resources. He will also oversee Dealnet's brand development, internal communications, public relations and marketing communications activities and will assist the company in managing its investment banking relationships. Sadler will report to CEO Michael Hilmer.

FLORIDA — Visit South Walton, the official South Walton, Florida tourism organization, has appointed David E. Demarest as director of communications. In his new role, Demarest will oversee national media relations for the organization and will work closely with local tourism partners to identify and leverage new media opportunities. Prior to this, he served as PR manager for Visit Panama City Beach, where he promoted the destination via local, national and international PR and marketing efforts.
