SPRINGDALE, AR—Tyson Foods has named Felicia Collins as vice president of corporate communications, responsible for public relations, social media and internal communications and reporting to Sara Lilygren, executive vice president of corporate affairs. Most recently, she was chief communications officer for ingredient producer Ventura Foods and earlier spent five years with Edelman in Washington, DC, and Chicago.

NEW YORK—CA Technologies has named Darlàn Monterisi as senior vice president of corporate communications, reporting to Lauren Flaherty, chief marketing officer. Most recently, Monterisi was a partner and managing director at Porter Novelli in New York, where she had overall responsibility for the Hewlett-Packard account and served as client relationship leader. Prior to that Monterisi was global PR director for Rockstar Games.

WHIPPANY, NJ—Bayer Corporation has appointed Paul Capelli as vice president of communications for Bayer Consumer Health. Capelli comes to Bayer after five years as vice president of corporate communications at QVC and will be responsible for internal and external communications. He will report to Raymond Kerins, senior VP and head of US communications, government relations and policy. Capelli previously spent time at CNBC, Amazon.com and Ketchum.

NEW YORK—Assurant, a global provider of risk management solutions, has appointed Linda Recupero as senior vice president, global communication. Based in New York, she will report to Francesca Luthi, executive vice president, chief communication and marketing officer, and will lead Assurant’s global internal and external communication activities as well as highlighting Assurant’s corporate social responsibility profile. For the past two years, Recupero served as VP, global head of communication at Nasdaq. Prior to that role, she was senior VP, corporate practice leader for MSLGroup and has also worked with Teneo Holdings, White & Case and HSBC. 

NEW YORK—The Estee Lauder Companies has hired Damon Burrell as senior vice president, consumer engagement, and appointed Anna Klein as vice president, corporate affairs. Most recently, Burrell was at Viacom as senior vice president, 360 marketing for Nickelodeon, where he led all consumer engagement for Nickelodeon's media and consumer product assets. Since 2007, Klein has held roles of increasing responsibility in global communications, leading a number of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

TORONTO—Hudson's Bay Company, a leading department store retail company, has established a new corporate communications and public relations division. Andrew Blecher has been promoted to senior vice president, corporate communications and public relations, and will lead the function. Blecher began his career at Saks Fifth Avenue nearly 15 years ago. He left for four years to assume a leadership role at PR agency Lividin & Co., where HBC was his lead client. He was hired by HBC in 2014, followings its acquisition of Saks, leading PR and events.

MANASSAS, VA—ATCC, a global leader in biological materials management and standards, has added Melissa Parker  as director, corporate communications and public affairs, responsible for communications and media relations strategy, including press and stakeholder outreach, branding, social media, and executive and employee communications. She joins ATCC from Raytheon space and airborne Systems, where she was senior manager, communications strategy and operations.
