NEWTOWN, CT—The National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms and ammunition industry, has named Michael Bazinet as director, public affairs, responsible for NSSF’s communications with the general news media and support the association’s government relations programs. Bazinet has served in communications and public affairs roles at Terex, UST (now part of Altria), Aetna and Tenneco.

NEW YORK—Wantful, a new retail destination dedicated to reinventing the experience of shopping for gifts, has hired Pamela Seidman as vice president of branding and communications, responsible for overseeing brand marketing and reporting directly to Wantful CEO John Poisson. Seidman joins Wantful with more than 20 years of marketing and brand communication experience for fashion and image brands, most recently as vice president of communications for Express, a $1.9 billion speciality retailer. She previously led US marketing for global fashion brands Valentino and Versace.

VANCOUVER, BC—NovaCopper has appointed Patrick Donnelly as vice president, corporate communications, to raise awareness of NovaCopper amongst the Canadian and global investment communities and the company's stakeholders.
