NEW YORK —Christine Heenan, founder and president of Clarendon Group and former VP of public affairs and communications for Harvard University, is joining The Rockefeller Foundation as VP for policy, partnerships and communications. Heenan (pictured) will lead the Foundation’s efforts to partner with governments, civil society, entrepreneurs and corporations to advance its mission and goals, in addition to directing communications, policy, regional and strategic partnerships, program influence and Bellagio Center meetings and events.  She will oversee a team responsible for strategic partnerships, media relations and digital communications, policy development and government relations, global meetings and global and programmatic influence.

MONTREAL — Arielle Meloul-Wechsler, Air Canada’s senior VP of people and culture, has been given the added responsibility of handling the airline’s corporate communications. She will oversee all aspects of Air Canada corporate communications including social media, corporate reputation and employee communications. She will also lead Air Canada community investment programs focused mainly on the well-being of children and youth with management oversight of the Air Canada Foundation.

ASHLAND, KY — Cindy Wiseman has been named Kentucky Power’s new managing director of external affairs and customer service. Wiseman, an external affairs manager for Kentucky Power’s sister company Appalachian Power, has been with American Electric Power since 2008. In her new role, Wiseman will have responsibility for corporate communications, customer services, community outreach, government affairs and economic development covering Kentucky Power’s 20-county service territory in eastern Kentucky.

SAN BRUNO, CA — Dynamic Signal, the employee communication platform, has hired Becky Graebe as senior director, communication expert. Graebe will work with the company’s sales and customer service teams offering communications expertise and counseling clients on the value of modernizing employee communications. She joins after a 16-year career with software company SAS, where she most recently served as director of communications.
