MIAMI — Edelman has made Carlos Correcha-Price the GM of its Miami office, as the agency steps up its focus on Latin America and the Hispanic market.

Correcha-Price will lead programs to address US and Latin American clients interested in developing relationships with the Hispanic market. The office will also prioritize the growth of its digital practice. Correcha-Price, who's been with Edelman since 2004, reports directly to Allan McCrea Steele, CEO Latin America.

Edelman Miami has been serving as Latin America’s regional hub since 1998. Earlier this summer, Edelman made its first acquisition in Latin America in five years by purchasing Position Comunicaciones in Colombia.

In 2010,Correcha-Price was one of eight executives worldwide selected to participate in the firm’s Fellows Program, a global initiative to exchange knowledge and best practices by immersing executives in high-growth markets. He worked out of Edelman’s Brazil office for 18 months, leading the public affairs practice and serving as chief of staff.

Prior to his position in Miami, Correcha-Price served as senior vice president of international public affairs in Washington, DC.
