COLUMBUS, OH—Fahlgren Mortine has added veteran public relations executive Edward Miller to its team as senior vice president and national media relations director. He will provide strategic media relations counsel and support to several of the agency’s accounts, while mentoring associates who provide media relations and training services for their clients.

Previously as senior manager, corporate affairs and news and industry relations, Miller guided Honda’s outreach to the automotive press corps, national and local business journalists, and officials in government, industry, and the community. Prior to his 11 years at Honda, he held a similar role for a decade with the Ford Motor Company.

Before transitioning to the communications side, Miller was a journalist, serving as editor-in-chief of Ward’s Auto World and as automotive writer at The Detroit News. Prior to The Detroit News, in his seven years with the Associated Press, Miller was a national editor in New York and AP’s auto writer in Detroit.
