LONDON—Fiona Battle is departing Weber Shandwick less than six months after joining the agency to lead its Mediaco digital content unit in London.

Battle becomes the second senior digital executive to leave Weber Shandwick in recent months, after the exit of chief digital creative officer James Warren.

Battle took on additional responsibility for Weber Shandwick's EMEA digital practice upon Warren's departure in September.

A Weber Shandwick spokesperson said that the agency is not seeking an immediate replacement for Battle's role. "The focus is now on continuing to build content creation hubs and embed digital in the practices and offices, and this plan is on track."

Weber Shandwick launched its Mediaco offering earlier this year, in a bid to capitalise on increasing client demand for content creation and marketing.

Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Battle was digital lead at Exposure. She confirmed her departure to the Holmes Report but declined to provide further details.
