HERZOGENAURACH, GERMANY — Sports company Puma is reorganising its global communications function from August 1, when global corporate communications director Ulf Santjer, who joined Puma in 1997, leaves the company. Corporate communications, brand and product PR and employer branding will be brought together, headed by current head of corporate communications Kerstin Neuber in the new role of senior head of communications, reporting to global director brand marketing Adam Petrick.

LONDON — Brunswick has hired a new director, Dex Torricke-Barton (pictured), a former senior communications executive at Google, Facebook and SpaceX, to its London office. Torricke-Barton started his career as speechwriter for UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon in New York.

LONDON — Boutique consumer PR firm Munch has been appointed by technology company gweek to launch its speech intelligence app to the UK consumer market, following a five-way competitive pitch. The app uses machine learning, plus face and voice recognition. Munch will deliver a national and regional campaign including targeting consumer, tech and mainstream media.

LONDON — Unity has appointed its first artist-in-residence, partnering with artist Freddie Yauner to create “Unity Curates”. Yauner's work is included in the permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Design Museum, London and The Israel Museum, Jerusalem. The agency will tap into Yauner’s design and artistic thinking for client campaigns, as well as helping the artist reach a wider audience.
