FRANKFURT—Hill+Knowlton Strategies has added André Wigger and Jo Klein its Frankfurt office as managing director and director of corporate communications respectively and Anders Mertzlufft in Berlin as director of corporate and public affairs. Wigger joins from communications consultancy Deekeling Arndt Advisors, where he was managing director of the corporate and public affairs division. Klein joins from Burson-Marsteller where he was deputy manager of the EMEA media practice and client lead for Deutsche Lufthansa, Mertzlufft previously led communication for the Federal Ministry of Justice and also managed his own agency.

LONDON—Threepipe has appointed Tracey Carey as managing director, a new position. The former FleishmanHillard board director will lead Threepipe day-to-day and will also have a business development remit, reporting into co-founders and joint CEOs Jim Hawker and Farhad Koodoruth.

The team at MHP will provide a comprehensive media and public relations strategy, as well as regulatory and political insight and strategic support, at a time when the sector goes through major reform.

LONDON—Callcredit Information Group, expert in managing consumer data, has appointed Octopus Group as its retained PR and social media agency. The account will be led by Octopus group director Tom Holland, who reports to Callcredit’s interim communications director Mary Whenman.
