LONDON—Ketchum has promoted a number of senior executives to partner level, including Vicky Wagner, CEO of Brandzeichen, based in Düsseldorf; Alison Doughty, managing director of Inspired Science, based in London; and Dave Scott, director of European finance, based in London.

LONDON—Shirin Majid has joined Weber Shandwick as creative director. Based in London, Majid will help oversee the creative output of the UK offices and lead work for key clients across the consumer, corporate, healthcare, technology, and social impact practices. Majid has held senior creative roles at communications and digital agencies in New York and London, including Edelman and Profero, and established and led the US offices of M&C Saatchi PR and Splendid Communications. 

MOSCOW—Buman Media has been selected to represent Total Vostok, a subsidiary of Total Group importing Total and Elf lubricants to the Russian market. The deal will have Buman Media performing full spectrum of PR services, including strategic media planning, interaction with mass media, news hooks generation, organization of events, monitoring, and more.

LONDON—Hotwire has appointed Matt Cross as managing director of its UK business. He will report into Alex MacLaverty in her role as group MD, EMEA, at Hotwire. Cross, in his previous role as UK deputy MD, has been instrumental in driving growth across the business and has been responsible for winning and handling some of the agency's biggest international clients.

LONDON—3 Monkeys Zeno has been awarded the European communications brief for ZyXEL, a global leader in broadband networking technology, serving as the lead PR agency for the UK and European Hub for content marketing and thought-leadership. Reporting to Mick Paddington, European communications director, 3 Monkeys Zeno takes the lead on developing ZyXEL's messaging to humanise the brand and drive relevance with its key audiences.  

DUBAI—Outsourcing and technology services specialist VFS Global has appointed Peter Brun as chief communications officer effective July 1. Brun will be responsible for corporate communications, marketing and branding, and corporate social responsibility of VFS Global, based at the company’s head office in Dubai, UAE. He joins from Kuoni Group, where he was chief communications officer and earlier worked as a journalist, moderator, anchor and managing director and chief editor at Radio 24 AG in Switzerland.

LONDON—Global social media agency We Are Social has hired Daniel Evans as associate creative director and Dan Vallint-Riggs as its first shooting director. Evans has worked in senior creative roles for agencies including Huge and Buzzman Paris. Most recently, he was creative director at content agency All Together Now. Vallint-Riggs joins We Are Social from content agency The Moment, where he was senior producer/director.

LONDON—Cognito, the specialist communications and marketing consultancy for the financial services industry, has appointed Yvonne Maher as director. Formerly a director at Grayling, Maher specializes in corporate communications and international PR for clients in the financial services, professional services and energy sectors. At Grayling, she managed campaigns for clients including the Economist Intelligence Unit, Lloyds Banking Group, Allianz Worldwide Care, Eversheds and the World Energy Congress.

LONDON—Social crowd platform Crowdmix has appointed Manifest as its retained communications agency, following a competitive pitch process. Manifest is already providing strategic brand consultancy for the app before managing the UK launch this summer. Manifest previously managed the global launch of music streaming app Bloom FM in 2013. The integrated launch campaign for Crowdmix will be delivered across earned, paid, owned and social media.

LONDON—Technology public relations company Red Lorry Yellow Lorry has been appointed as UK PR agency for Insightec, and Israeli company and leader in MR-guided focused ultrasound, a non-invasive therapy platform. The firm will develop an awareness campaign targeting both patients and medical professionals.
