LONDON—College Hill has been appointed to act for Acal plc, a leading European specialist electronics supplier, to provide communications consultancy to the group’s key investor and media audiences. Acal provides specialist electronic and photonic products, manufacturing, marketing, engineering and design services to the industrial sector. The group has operating companies across Europe, as well as in Asia and Africa. College Hill won a competitive pitch to act for Acal.

LONDON—FleishmanHillard has appointed Sophie Scott to lead its technology team in London. She also joins the agency's London management team. In 10 years as part of the technology team at FH, she has led work for Avaya Intel, AT&T, TCS and Autodesk. She will continue to drive growth of capabilities and services in the practice. Scott joined FleishmanHillard in 2003 from Lewis PR.

LONDON—Seven Hills has boosted its senior consultancy team with three director-level hires. Laura Tallett joins with international experience having recently worked as group account director for n2n communications in Australia, and before that with Edelman's operations across the Middle East. Jonny Rosemont, formerly communications manager at John Lewis, has been named head of digital. And Eleanor Gough joins as associate director, with experience at Bite and Weber Shandwick.
