AMSTERDAM—UK-based W has opened a second full-service international office—following its launch in Singapore earlier this year—in Amsterdam. The opening follows a series of projects, culminating in the launch of the new W Hotel in the city. The W Hotel campaign was undertaken jointly with roycomm, one of Amsterdam's leading boutique consultancies, which will be W's partner in the new venture. TheAmsterdam office will be led by managing director Lyddia Roy, a founding director of RoyComm.

LONDON—Travel industry association ABTA has appointed Alan Wardle as director of public affairs, reporting to Chief Executive Mark Tanzer. Wardle joins ABTA from the NSPCC, where he was head of policy and public affairs for the past five years. Previous roles include director of public Affairs at Stonewall, and programme director, public affairs, at the Local Government Association.  

DUBAI—Teneo has expanded its team in the Middle East and Africa with the appointment of Nicholas McDonagh as managing director for the region. Prior to joining Teneo, McDonagh was a partner with Finsbury, based in the UAE where he led the consultancy's growth across the MEA region. Earlier, he was a fund manager and managing director of a UAE-based private equity group and co-led the management buy-out of part of Deutsche Bank's private equity funds management business in Australia.
