Entrepreneurs from public relations consultancies across Europe have joined the jury for the 2012 EMEA region SABRE Awards. The latest group of announced judges includes industry leaders from Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK. Noud Bex launched Bex* communicatie, now one of the largest independent public relations firms in the Netherlands—and our reigning Benelux Consultancy of the Year—in 1986, after a career that included serving as manager of public relations at Volvo. Emmanuel Goedseels worked several years as a journalist for France-Inter (Paris) and the newspaper Le Soir (Brussels) and then as a communication consultant for Fortis. He joined Belgium firm Interel in 1997, ultimately serving as chairman of corporate communications, Europe, before becoming one of the founding partners of Whyte Corporate Affairs, which he launched three years ago. Angie Moxham is chief monkey at Three Monkeys, now one of the UK’s top 50 PR firms, which she launched from her attic in 2003 with a single client. Moxham began her working life as a radio producer and news reporter, worked as a press officer for the NHS, and then moved into consultancy, joining Le Fevre Communications in 1993, becoming MD and co-owner three years later.
