LONDON--Finn Partners has hired Chantal Bowman-Boyles to lead its new office in London, which will launch early next year.

Bowman-Boyles arrives at Finn Partners after heading the technology practice at Waggener-Edstrom, which she joined in September 2011.

Prior to that, she spent three years at BT, including a stint as head of employee and change communications at the telecoms giant’s BT Operate division, and has held held numerous roles in the agency world, including leadership positions at Burson-Marsteller, GolinHarris and Weber Group.

Finn Partners launched in 2011 after spinning off from Ruder Finn and has since grown rapidly, winning Best New Agency of the Year at the 2012 Americas SABRE Awards.

“We’ve achieved a great deal since launching Finn Partners in 2011--creating strong partnerships, delivering great work, adding talented people and expanding our locations," said Finn Partners founding partner Peter Finn. "Our vision from the outset has included plans for our international growth and I’m excited that we’ve hired Chantal and will have our London presence firmly established early next year.”

The agency's London office will open in the first quarter of next year, providing services to existing international clients and attempting to grow local and regional business.

The firm's current UK clients, which include Exact Target, GT Nexus, IEEE, IPC and Irdeto, have previously been serviced by Ruder Finn. Bowman-Boyles, said the firm, will now work with Ruder Finn teams to lead these accounts.

"The communications industry is experiencing constant change, which can be disruptive, and capitalizing on that change requires trusted relationships with proven creative people who work as teams to deliver great results," said Bowman-Boyles.

"Finn Partners has done that in the U.S. and I believe the European market is ready for a new kind of consultancy that puts collaboration, and true partnership, amongst its clients and people first."
