ST. LOUIS — FleishmanHillard’s Dianna Kraus has been named global managing director of the agency’s newly relaunched sports practice, which is centered around data-driven capabilities.

Kraus, who is also a senior VP and senior partner, is a FleishmanHillard vet, having led global communications for clients in the financial services, technology, automotive and consumer sectors. She brings expertise in brand activation around mega sporting events to the new role.

Kraus will be working with newly-designated regional leaders including senior VP and senior partner Steve Hickok, who will lead the Americas; Chris Gratton, who joins from Octagon Sports to head Europe; and Suki Zhao, who will lead Asia.

“The agency formally launched FleishmanHillard Sports in 2007, leaning into our experience helping some of the world’s most ambitious sponsors and most exciting leagues expand their business interests worldwide,” said J.J. Carter, the firm’s global chief operating officer and president of the Americas region. “As our sports portfolio continues to expand, it’s very exciting to be able to appoint a new generation of great leaders to drive our next decade of growth for the practice.”
